Can we upload avatars to our user names?

Hi Firefly....if you go into User CP you can then download so Avatars show up beside your name in members list .....you can also update your profile....add in likes , hobbies etc if you wish.....cheers Katy:)

Yes, but not animated ones. You can do this through your UserCP. Top Left of Menu Bar when you have signed in.

Morning Kieran.....never mind..... this techno jargon sometimes brings on my Migrains....but to try and answer your question....our new member Firefly has a website....its listed in Mikes message.......
As for Avatars...these are the little pictures that show beside our name each time we post......

If you want to get one put the words Avatar image into Google then choose and save the one you like......
Then if you go into User CP (top left hand of page) you can add picture beside your name........ahh!!! hope that explains it......meanwhile if you look at my name I have a little picture.....thats my Avatar...and you can change them when you want....(just dont use aninmated ones).....

I actually did the entire site myself. My host package included a site designer which was very easy to use, and way more economical, so the website and domain is only €80 per year.

Hi Firefly......wow!! you must be a techno expert......I am still learning some basics.....:confused:
But truly congrats the site is brill....well done......:)
Must ask have you been living in Cobh all your life.....it was end of Oct 05 first time we came for a short holiday, and the rest is history.....Kieran thinks I was born in Cobh in a past life..lol...maybe....who knows.....
It just feels like I am home when we are there........ahh!! Katy :)

No I'm not originally from Cobh, I'm from Blackrock. We moved here four years ago. I have to admit to not spending much time around the town, we don't socialize here much as our friends are all over the city.
We do love it here tho, I get a serious bout of road rage now when i go to my mums in Blackrock as the traffic is just incredible:mad:

Hi Firefly....truly first spare weekend you get....do the rounds of Cobh.....ie

Heritage Centre,then the Scots Musuem...call in on one of the Exhibitions in the Art Centre/Tourist office.....then take in the view of the Saint Colmans Cathedral from Kennedy Memorial Park.....phew!! by then you need an Irish Coffee or two.....take a boat trip out around the Harbour (just remember your camera..lol)....then....lol:) .....Jog or walk up to the Cathedral for some brilliant views of the Town.......
And if your feeling very, very fit.....try going up then down the Street called 'The Deck of Cards'....ahh!! phew!!
One place that I loved was the Bible Gardens......and the Priory Tea Rooms...ahh!!! mmm!!! magic.......:)
I think I bet stop talking now or you will think I am crazy:eek: lol....Truly Cobh has a lot more to offer....and I envy the fact you are living in Cobh......((Hugs)) Katy
