No talk because no one watched it, or did they? I'll put my hand up and say I did. It's one of those things, you know its a load of bollocks but still dont want to miss it incase theres a change this time and they might get it right. The Father Ted type song we had was never going to rate, but I guess I was hoping the voting thing would sort itself. Ya its time to call it quits and make an exist from the farce, but i hear RTE are refusing and are digging their heels in in its defence. They must be making a killing themselves from the phone ins or something. Next Year- "My lovely Horse"!

Wakie Wakie Ned. Dana, Logan and all the rest were voted by juries that knew a good song when they heard them. Those days are long gone. its no longer about the music but how ridiculous you look and which side of the old iron curtain you are located. Terry Wanker O'Wogan has feck all to do with it. Its all about those phone -ins and RTE must be getting something out of all that. it's a seperate argument but I honestly think the dervish song was a good pub tune, but not a euro song in the tradition that we grew up with. As for riverdance, it didnt win. It was an interval act, probably the best Euro winner that never was. As I said -My lovely horse for next year!
