Does any think that he has been well and truely stitched up or am I alone on this?
The other two seem far to smug with themselves harping on about policies and FF are stuck in the alamo surrounded on all sides by the media vultures waiting for the next sound bite.
Not that I'm politically inclined either way but something just doesn't fit for me....
I'm sure our local SF rep will have something to say as soon as he sees this Colm

LOL Thought so!!!:D
For that now lads, I'm saying nothinnng!
I actually wrote a long reply to this last night but it vanished from my screen before i could post it. Here it goes again.
There are two smoking guns here. The Fine Gael/Labour leakers who recieve their tips from journalists, and who re-leak them on to different papers. Then you have the kings of spin in Fianna Fail. The FF'ers are at their best went they play the victim. As we saw above in Colm's post, the hankies were out to wipe the tears away for poor puppy dog Bertie. This victim style position works two fold for the FF'ers. It raises their support with the voting punters, but it also rallies their existing supporters to get out and campaign against those Blue-shirt bastards trying to nueter their own cuddly Bertie!
I've been told by one of our sources, that when Bertie opts out of public life, we'll see an avalaunch of material come out about him that will make Haughey look like an alterboy. To answer your question Colm, no its not just you who feels Bertie is being stabbed, and thats why his spin doctors are being paid mega dollars to make you think that way!

LOL hey I just wanted to get a bit of chat going!!:D
By the way I was listening to Matt Cooper on the way home yesterday and they were discussing the possiblity (slim as it may be) the SF could go into government with FF seeing as they've done an apparent u-turn on corporation tax:confused: What u thing K is this possible what is the story with corporation tax and SF?

More of an S turn methinks!
Depends who you are talking about with the unturn, do you mean Fianna Fail will do one and go into government with SF? You can remortgage your house and bet it on that one, if the PD's are wiped out as expected. Mind you, Labour are like drunk hookers, they will be anybodies after this election so Bertie might go for that easier option. If on the other hand, you are talking about Sinn Fein dropping corporation tax, I think Ned is correct to describe as an s turn rather than a u turn, because if Bertie really needs us after the election, you'll see that will be back on our shopping list along with new taxes for all his millioneer buddies who currently avoid paying any. What about the FF's and Labour coming out with their big 'No Sinn Fein' in government statements on the same day that Stormont reopened? Who by the way, does Sinn Fein take votes from in the south? Ya, FF and Labour. What a coincidence!
Berties public statement today on his finances is his last desperate card in this election. I'm around in this game along time and never thought I would see the day when Michael Ahern would be in real trouble holding his seat in Cork East, but he is. The Times, they are a changing!
