The publishing house Baen has put some it?s books on the web in HTML format. I gather this is an attempt to interest the reader in other published works by the authors. The books are of mixed quality but with some good ones.

Amazon have been doing that for years Mike. I was dealing with a Scotish vanity publisher some years ago about the novel I was working on. Part of the deal he was offering, was to have my book advertised on the Amazon site for free. I believe Amazon are the biggest on-line book site around. I checked the site myself and sure enough, some of the titles under his publishing name were for sale on the site!

I have every book that SK wrote, so ya you could say I'm a fan, but have to admit since he got run over a few years ago his writing has gone to shit in my opinion!
Kieran,I would love to know the story behind John Flan tryin to scare the shite out of us, I'm sure there was some truth in it! If ya ever bump into him ask him!

Didnt know that Stephen King was run over. Sounds like a good tale for his next book. There is an Ulster Unionist Spokeman named Stephen King who writes for the Irish Examiner. I admire him because as a married man to a man, he has stood his ground about being gay in a very homophobic unionist society. He wouldnt have lasted 5 mins in the DUP!

I thought the only men that married men were priests? Think about it!
