Warm welcome to all who are researching 'Family History' over the months, years ahead I hope we can all offer help, advice to each other.....some days it will be brilliant, other days nothing will go right and you may feel like giving up.....Please Don't.......
Truly you will find your research is very rewarding, that to with the fact you are passing on one special gift for the next generation.
I will post a number of links and sites that maybe of help to you.(feed-back would be great..)
My first handy-hint is to say, sign in as a Guest to the sites (many are FREE) read the other members posts also the do's and don'ts for that site and if you think that link will help your research then all you do is register.
Please remember never, ever post names,places or dates of birth for living relatives.....
And when you get the chance if you can pass on Cobh site details....many families left from Cobh Harbour, to start a new life either in England, America/Canada or beyond.
Truly Cobh is the ideal place to stay if you are just starting your research, so Good Luck to all newcomers.......
