To anyone living in the Mews area of Rushbrook Links

Has anyone been having problems with constant interference (constant high pitch tone) in their baby monitors since about two weeks ago? I know I'm not the only one, I wonder is there some sort of transmitter or mobile mast gone up in the location causing the interference??

Colm.

I know Nova Networks have installed new transmitters in the links recently. I have the engineer at my house later this afternoon and I'll mention that to him.

I have new baby monitors that I don't use. I'll test them and see. If they work you can borrow them if you like

I purchased two different types thinking one was faulty, but both are the same

Spoke with the Nova technician when he was here and its not their equipment that might be causing the noise. Have me Broadband installed now. Will dig out the Baby monitors and check it out

i dont think its just the Links that have this problem. i live up the other end of town in carrignafoy and my monitors often go loopy. some nites its so bad that i just turn them off! it normally starts off with a low buzzing noise that is tolerable but if someone turns on the light switch or bangs a door the monitor starts to "scream" and you can hear a whirring noise, its very strange and extremely annoying!!

but i can remember babysitting in Carrig Owen a few yrs ago and their monitor was exactly the same.......maybe some ghosts are doing a tour of the town?? :)

Years ago I had a TV that was so Hi-Tech, that when a Taxi passed our house....the telly would change channels. :o...hard luck if you had gone to make a cupa, come back sit down , then realise the programme is different...........it was scary for a while ::)...........cheers Katy 8-)

I reckon Mike Bardsley isnt really human and is making contact down at the links with the mother ship at night. He needs all your baby montitors as a conductor Columm, so dont let yourself be used. The space ship refuses to land until those fecking ramps are removed first! -K ;D

Our monitors have been working fine for the last week or so, As for the Mother Ship...I think it must have taken Mike already..there hasn't been a sound from him here in a while. *Maybe they tried to land at the bottom of Ballynoe last week. Theres impact craters all over the place!!! ;D

Pluto was interesting....................... lousy beer though!!

Before I went I spoke with the Nova installation engineer about their equipment interferring with the monitors and he said that that shouldn't be the case.
