Hi guys, havent been on this in awhile! hows things with everyone?

im not happy with ramblers at the mo, nothing to do with the team or anything, just with their merchandise!
my boyfriend bought the home jersey in march and i bought him the away 1 in may, they aint cheap at €50 a pop! but the 2 jeresys have ripped in the exact same place, along the neckline. i started asking ppl i know who have the jeresys if they had same problem and quite a few do....im not impressed!!

i bought them in fanatics down town and brought them back on the 10th of this month and i still havent heard anything back from them. i have called to the shop twice and rang numerous times but no1 knows what happening!

They were sending the jerseys away to be repaired......if i had kept them i would have had them sewn in 5 mins!!

Shello -I got mine at fanatics too at start of the season and I wear it everywhere except to bed and theres nothing wrong with it. I think you'll find that fanactics has to send it back to the manufacturers to get it sorted. I know someone there and will enquire for you!

its ok Kieran, i got it sorted...2 brand new jerseys! my boyfriend was only delighted with himself. I reckon it must have been a bad batch or something.
took long enough to sort tho..2 and half weeks, and it was me that was doing all the contacting. I know they are busy, and thats great for a local shop, but their customer services are lacking. ive had my moan now lol...and i got a result!! http://www.cobhnet.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif

Any chance of the Rams, staying up this season?

I should have known it! I was listening to the radio last night and thought I heard the announcer saying Cobh Ramblers had beaten Sunderland 4-0. It was of course too good to be true and in fact Sunderland beat Cobh by that score. Of course I should have been at the match supporting my home team, shouldn't I?

Rather unlikely Ned but I hope they do.

I was at that game and Ramblers actually gave them a run for their money in the first half. It was a great day out though with a coporate lunch and Niall Quinn giving a first class entertaining speech etc. Got to meet most of the players, Andy Reid is a very nice guy. The result didnt matter, it was all about raising much needed funds for Ramblers.
To answer your question Ned, Ramblers have a big uphill battle to survive in the league now. I believe the Monday Night Soccer show was dominated with emails from Cobh sent by some very pissed off fans over the refereeing decisions at Cobh last Saturday when a penalty was awarded to Rams, then withdrawn after the lines man consulted and swung the ref. That followed about 6 mins after Ramblers had a perfectly good goal disallowed, and after Davin O'Neill had another penalty call denied. The ref then smiled up to the roaring Cobh Fans. Not for the first time this season, the ref blatantly began calling the opposing players by their first names while calling the Cobh players by their numbers. Alas, Cobh last by 2-1 while it should have been 3-2 in their favour. I'm told all the panel on the MNS show on TV agreed that COBH were robbed and probably will go down now becase the team they should have beaten -Bray Wanders have now got a lift up out of the relegation zone by that result. Basically, small teams like Cobh are not wanted in this league and Dublin clubs always get the speciall treatment by the officials.
