Feck sake Ned, the bubble burst about a year ago. Mega black cloud over the country and the experts are even been cought on the hop with this one, becuase its not just the builders. alot of women too!

The Gov are trying to pass it off as a tempory slump in the building industry, but because there was asmany women thrown onto the dole in the last month, its clear the problem is far more serious!

Hopefully not a return to the 70's,when mise and countless others had to take a hike?
The Taisoceach (did i spell it right?) aims to cut 1.5 billion from his budget!
Where are the cuts going to come from? Hospitals,social services, environmental issues, including haulbowline!
Lets see what the immigrants do now now when the economy is up against the wall? Will they stay or will they go?

Its ground to a halt already Ned and many have gone home. Others are married and settled in for the long haul. Its in Paddy's genes to travel anyway so many will up and go at the first opportunity. My own son went to London about a month ago to cash in on the olympic construction works. He lasted 2 weeks, as they are screwing foreign workers there with the minimum rate. They're economy is crippled too and are also playing workers off each other. Fionn, my young fella had the cop to realise that its not him or any foreign workers fault but the employers who play them off each other and got the first plane home once he had the dollars for a ticket!
