View Full Version : Katy come hom
If anyone is wondering why Katy hasnt been on here lately, its because she is galavanting around Cobh. She came up to me while I was near the Lusitania monument on Wednesday. I hadnt a clue who she was until I heard the Jordie accent and immediately copped who she was. Funny thing, she also knew the guy beside me (Paddy Histon) was also a councillor. (have you been giving out all our details again Mike? lol

I would have thought Banbridge would have been more appropriate.
When Danny Crowley was Mayor some years back, he visited Banbridge to check out their Marina, got a cool reception from the unionist mayor there. No Ballymena for the Paisley connection.

(((((((((Hugs)))))))) Katy back home....aaahh!! after two brilliant, sun filled weeks in Ireland, back to washing, ironing, and home decorating all back on my agenda.
Truly we had a fantastic holiday, one week staying in Cobh, and travelling around...then it was over to Killarney for a week, took in the trips (Buses and Train service..great) . One trip that has left us with many memories was the breathtaking views 'Gap of Dunloe' two hours viewing the Mountains from the Lakes, then it was all aboard the Horse and Trap, and one mega, magic journey via the Mountain Trail ........perfect....
Blarney Castle and area trillion pictures taken.....
And Katy chasing two Canadian Ladies, who asked if they could kiss the Guy (Wilf) who had kissed the Blarney Stone.....lol....he thought they were joking ....lol...till they puckered up....and Katy got photo.....magic.
Dingle Bay/Beach and Inch Beach.....aaahh!! and we made some great new friends in Tralee......mm!! Guinness, Food, Scenery, Sunshine, brilliant company.....what more could a wee lass ask for:)
Kieran, your face when you realised who I was ....pure magic......and I wont mention the ((((((hug))))))lol...great to meet you in person.....sorry I missed the cuppa and cakes Fulla, maybe next time.
And it was great to find out about the Pipe Band Competition.....and to see so many youngsters marching and taking part. Parents must be so proud :)
Well Katy off to check the rest of the posts on site......(((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))to all on site.....blessings Katy

They did a similar photo shoot in Gateshead beside the new Sage Building on the Quayside......lol......I gather it was also early morning, damp, dull and very cold.....bbbrr!!
All ages took part......lol.....Katy staying on the otherside of the camera....lol.....So you just watch the news Ned.....they may all turn up in Oz.......cheers Katy
